    The short version

    Eight steps

    1. Get Downloader. On the Fire TV home screen, go to Find, then Search, type Downloader and install the Downloader app by AFTVnews.
    2. Allow it to install apps. Open Settings, then My Fire TV, then Developer Options, then Install unknown apps, and turn Downloader on. On older Fire OS versions this setting is called Apps from Unknown Sources. If you do not see Developer Options, open Settings, then My Fire TV, then About, and click your device name 7 times.
    3. Open Downloader. Allow storage access when asked, then enter the Downloader code or the URL https://scatsports.locker/get and press Go.
    4. Install. When the download finishes, choose Install, then Done. Downloader offers to delete the installer file; choose Delete to save space.
    5. Open the player. Find Scat Player V2 in Your Apps & Channels. Press the Menu button and choose Move to front to keep it on your home row.
    6. First launch. The intro plays and the Command Center welcomes you while it loads.
    7. Sign in with your own provider. Enter the server URL, username and password that your provider gave you. ScatSports is the player only: we do not sell, issue or include provider lines.
    8. Done. The home screen opens with today’s games.

    Troubleshooting

    If something goes wrong

    The install is blocked

    Fire TV only installs from apps you allow. Go to Settings, My Fire TV, Developer Options, Install unknown apps, and make sure Downloader is on. On older Fire OS, turn on Apps from Unknown Sources. If Developer Options is missing, open About and click the device name 7 times, then go back.

    There was a problem parsing the package

    The download was cut short or a page was saved instead of the app. Delete the file in Downloader, check your connection, and download again from https://scatsports.locker/get. The player needs Fire OS 6 or newer.

    Downloader says there is not enough storage

    Open Settings, Applications, Manage Installed Applications and clear the cache of large apps, or uninstall ones you do not use. Delete old installer files inside Downloader, then try again.

    Downloader cannot save the file

    Allow storage access when Downloader asks. If you said no, open Settings, Applications, Manage Installed Applications, Downloader, Permissions, and allow Storage.

    How do I update?

    Download the new version with the same code or URL and choose Install. It updates in place, so you stay signed in and keep your favorites and settings.

    Where do I get provider details?

    From the provider you already subscribe to. ScatSports HQ is a player only and does not sell, issue or include provider lines, channels or streams.
