Install and sign in

Four parts: install on Windows, install on Fire TV, connect your own provider, and fix common problems.

1. Install on Windows

1. Go to the Download page and select Download installer (.exe).
2. Open the downloaded file. If Windows SmartScreen shows a warning, select More info, then Run anyway.
3. Follow the installer. ScatSports HQ opens when it finishes and adds a Start menu shortcut.
4. Updates install automatically. You can check your version in Settings.

2. Install on Fire TV (beta, Fire OS devices)

Enable Developer Options

1. On the Fire TV home screen, open Settings, then My Fire TV.
2. Select About, then select your device name 7 times until you see "You are now a developer."
3. Go back. Developer Options now appears under My Fire TV.

Install Downloader and allow it to install apps

1. Search for Downloader in the Amazon Appstore and install it.
2. Open Settings, My Fire TV, Developer Options, then Install unknown apps, and turn it on for Downloader.

Install ScatSports HQ

1. Open Downloader, select the URL box and enter the code shown on the Download page (coming soon).
2. Select Go. When the download finishes, select Install, then Open.
3. Optional: back in Downloader, select Delete to remove the installer file and free up space.

3. Sign in with your own provider

The app opens to an empty "Add your source" screen. Choose the method your provider supports.

Xtream Codes

1. Select Xtream Codes.
2. Enter the server URL (including http:// or https:// and the port if your provider gave one), your username and your password.
3. Select Connect. Scat loads your channels and guide, then builds the sports hubs.

M3U playlist

1. Select M3U playlist and paste your playlist URL, or choose a local .m3u / .m3u8 file.
2. Add your XMLTV guide URL if your provider gives one, so game matching and the guide work.
3. Select Connect.

Your provider details are stored encrypted on your device only. They are never sent to ScatSports HQ servers.

Activate Pro

Sign in to your Scat account in Settings, Account with the email you used at checkout. Pro unlocks on up to 5 devices.

4. Troubleshooting

• Can't connect: Check the server URL, port, username and password for typos. Make sure your provider account is active.
• Buffering: Use a wired connection or 5 GHz Wi-Fi. In Settings, prefer HLS (.m3u8) output if your provider offers it, and keep the anti-buffer engine on.
• Game shows no channels: Add or refresh your guide (EPG/XMLTV) data in Settings. Matching relies on guide listings near start time.
• Multiview or failover stops a stream: Your provider plan may allow only one connection. Scat detects this and closes one stream before opening another, but multiview needs a multi-connection plan.
• Fire TV install blocked: Confirm Install unknown apps is on for Downloader. If the option does not exist, your device may run Vega OS.
• Still stuck: Contact our Telegram support bot. We can help with the app, but we cannot help with or recommend providers.
