Privacy Policy
Draft, last updated November 3, 2026. This policy is pending legal review.
This policy explains what the operator of ScatSports HQ ("we") collects when you use the ScatSports HQ apps and this website.
Provider credentials stay on your device
Your provider server, username, password and playlist links are stored encrypted on your device (Windows DPAPI or Android Keystore). They are never sent to, logged by, or stored on ScatSports HQ servers. We never see what you watch.
What we collect
- Account and license: your email address, plan, license status and a list of activated devices (device name and a random device ID).
- Orders: when you start a checkout we store the plan, payment method (Venmo or crypto), a short order ID, the time, and the email or Telegram username you give us. Venmo and cryptocurrency networks handle the payment itself; we see the payment details those services show the recipient (for example, the Venmo name and note, or the transaction ID). Crypto transactions are public on their blockchain.
- Free trial: the name and email or Telegram username you enter on the trial form, and the time of the request.
- Sports data requests: the app asks our data service for schedules, scores and odds. These requests contain the leagues or games requested, not your provider details or viewing history.
- Diagnostics (optional): crash reports and basic performance data, which you can turn off in Settings. They never include provider credentials, channel lists or what you watch.
- Support: messages you send to our Telegram support bot, and your Telegram username, so we can answer you.
- Website: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested), kept for up to 30 days for security. This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies.
How we use it
To provide and license the app, confirm payments, issue trial and license keys, answer support requests, prevent abuse and fix bugs. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, and we do not track what you watch.
Who processes it
Our hosting provider, Venmo, the cryptocurrency networks you choose, and Telegram (for support messages) process data on our behalf or under their own terms.
How long we keep it
Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and afterwards as long as tax and accounting law requires. Diagnostics are kept for up to 90 days. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the CCPA or GDPR), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Contact our Telegram support bot to make a request. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post updates here with a new date.
