DMCA and Copyright Policy

Draft, last updated November 3, 2026.

ScatSports HQ respects intellectual property rights. ScatSports HQ is player software: we do not host, stream, index, link to or distribute any channels or video, and our servers store no media. The app plays only sources that each user enters on their own device.

What we can act on

Our website, our app's own code and artwork, and anything published on our support channels. Because we do not host the content people play, we cannot remove a third party's stream. Notices about a stream should go to whoever hosts it.

Sending a notice

A notice under 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3) should include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. The copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
  3. The material on our site or app you want removed, with a URL or enough detail to find it.
  4. Your name, mailing address, phone number and email.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Designated agent

Our designated agent details will be listed here once registered with the U.S. Copyright Office. Until then, send notices through the support channel below.

Send notices through our Telegram support bot.

Counter-notices and repeat infringers

If we remove something you posted and you believe it was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice with the details required by 17 U.S.C. 512(g)(3). We end the licenses of repeat infringers in appropriate cases.

Trademarks

Team and league names, where used, are for identification only. ScatSports HQ is not affiliated with or endorsed by any league, team or broadcaster.
